The cheer squad's annual Christmas performance was Friday night at halftime of the Sr. Girls game Vs. Blytheville. It was awesome. Great job!!!!
HHS hosted the annual Christmas Party for Faculty and Staff this evening. Merry Christmas!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped with this event.
Mrs. Lela Massey was the winner of the "Tacky Christmas Sweater Contest" at the HHS Faculty and Staff Christmas Party. She won by popular vote. Congratulations!!!!!
The Highland Band program held the annual Winter Concert today. It was awesome!!!! Beginning Band, Jr. Band and Sr. Band performed. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Bruner, Mrs. Serna and all the band members on a great performance.
The NEHS and members of other societies (Beta, Rho Kappa and NHS) visited Hourglass Escapes in Searcy. They successfully "escaped" the Alcatraz themed escape room.
Semester tests will be given at HHS this week. Periods 1,3 and 7 will be given on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Periods 2,4,6 and 8 will be given on Thursday, Dec. 19. Friday, Dec. 20 will be make-up exam day.
The next ACT test will be give on Feb. 8, 2020. Registration by Jan. 10 with late registration due by Jan. 17. See Mrs. Mahaffey for details.

The HHS Library’s December Book Circle was a success! Participants discussed the book The Leaving, a mystery/suspense novel by Tara Altebrando.
