Please make sure that you have filled out the “Senior Signing” form that Mrs. Mahaffey sent out. This form was created to gather information about post-graduation plans, such as work, college, and/or military commitment. Our Senior Signing is set for May 7th, at 9:00 a.m. in the A.L. Hutson Center. If you do not plan to be a part of the signing, let Mrs. Mahaffey know. Please submit forms by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23.

The Highland Chapter of the National English Honor Society held new member inductions this evening. Thank you to Mrs. Jessica Seat for sponsoring the Highland Chapter and congratulations to new members.
April 5-9 is National Assistant Principals Week. Thank you Mrs. Floyd for all you do for HHS.
Highland High School senior Blane Nicholson was recognized for his innovative project in World Lit II. Highland Superintendent Don Sharp presented Blane with an "Above and Beyond" certificate for his original board game, which was based on Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.
Highland Superintendent Don Sharp presented Highland High School Library Media Specialist Ashley Lewis with an "Above and Beyond" certificate for her outstanding commitment to encouraging reading across the district. Look for her "May I Recommend" segments on Facebook and Instagram.
Highland High School math instructor, Matt Dombkowski, recently earned National Board Certification. Highland Superintendent Don Sharp presented Mr. D with an "Above and Beyond" certificate in recognition of his hard work to achieve this certification.
Congratulations to Tyler Dobbins. Tyler signed a Letter of Intent to attend Lyon College and join the wrestling team.
